Last night (February 3rd) a miracle happened. My second son was born at 8:10 PM. Named in honor of my grandfather and JPII, Jonathan Paul is 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 inches long. We spent a long day at the hospital awaiting his arrival. We are very blessed to have a health baby boy and a healthy mother. Thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes. They are very much appreciated!

My wife and I found out we were pregnant with our second child in June. We have been very excited to have another addition to our family. During a pregnancy you usually get a few opportunities to have an ultrasound done. These are really cool. You get an opportunity to see the child that is growing in the mothers womb. I always look forward to these ultrasounds. I find it amazing to see the mini heart pumping blood, the spine that looks like railroad tracks. It is so awesome to see the child’s hands and feet and more impressive is getting to see your child’s face for the first time.
The first ultrasound isn’t as impressive as the ultrasound at twenty weeks. The first ultrasound images look like a jellybean with a beating heart. It is amazing how a child grows. Well, this week my wife and I had an opportunity to have a twenty week ultrasound done. The technicians at the place we go to do an amazing job. I am impressed at the things they can see. Usually I cannot make out the things that they say they see. Sometimes I think they are making it up and laughing More >
