Love to Pray!

I was recently tagged by Clayton Imoo in a Prayer Meme. This evidently has been going around for a little bit and has involved people like Bob Rice, Popple, the Catholic Youth Ministry Blog, Gene from Apex and it has finally made it to me. If you are tagged you are to blog about your three favorite prayers. Here are my three in no particular order:
Guardian Angel (I say this with my son every night)
Angel of God, My Guardian Dear To whom God’s Love commits me here. Ever this night be at my side to light and guard and rule and guide.
Hail Holy Queen (This prayer has so much power)
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley, of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

The Majestic Baldness

There are a lot of issues that I do not agree with in our country. One thing I will agree with is that the bald eagle is one of the most majestic creatures in our country. The bald eagle however majestic has a strange title. The bald in the title of this wonderful creature when thought about is a bit confusing. The bald that we are used to is what I as a human being portray. Let me correct myself, I am balding not bald. Is there a difference you may ask. If you are the one that is balding there is a HUGE difference. I feel better to know that I’m not bald.
Many people have to deal with many things that they are not happy about themselves that they have no control over. Some people have bad acne, huge noses and other flaws or things that make them feel down about themselves. I’ll be honest, I’m not too thrilled about being bald. I have come to terms with it and know that this is the way God has made me but there are still times when I really wish I had a full luxurious head of hair. Alas, I More >
eXclaim! Toledo 2010

eXclaim! Toledo 2010 was an amazing event! I cannot believe how awesome it was. Paul and I had a great time. We were able to meet and talk with Jackie Francois and her band. They are some great people. I was pretty nervous before we went on stage but as soon as we started to play and sing I was fine. Thank you to all of you that came out to support The Jacob’s Well Experience. We totally appreciate it. Without you we would be playing music for ourselves. God truly blessed us to have the opportunity to play music to praise Him and to help others praise Him. Please continue to pray for Paul, myself and The Jacob’s Well Experience as our ministries continue to grow into what God wants them to be.
Being on the stage just made me think about how blessed we are. God really can do anything. I have dreams and God keeps making them come true. Make sure you thank God for all of the gifts that he has given you. You may think that you have to look hard to find them but God gives us gifts and miracles on a daily basis we More >
At Innovation Studios

Paul Davis and I traveled to Steubenville, Ohio on August 4th. We started recording our first album. We are working on three original tunes; Fight Song, Forgiven and Praise to the King. We have been having a great time so far. We have been able to work with some great musicians. We had Peter Wilson come and play drums for us and between Mike Ofca, Dan Bozbek and myself we were able to track the bass. Tomorrow we start tracking guitar and vocals. We are really excited about the music we are making here and can’t wait to share it with you. Forgiven & Fight Song Live

As you know Paul Davis and I played some music to compete for an opening spot for Matt Maher. We made it. Here is a video of Fight Song and a video of Forgiven. Both of these songs are written by me. Forgiven happens to be my favorite song I’ve written so far. I put a recording of Fight Song up a while ago. I hope you enjoy them.
